Mid-Atlantic CHP Application Center Roadmapping Workshop

The MAAC held its first Roadmapping Workshop on July 8, 2004 . This event was attended by approximately 75 representatives of project developers, equipment suppliers, consulting firms, universities, federal and state government agencies, and other stakeholder organizations. The primary objectives were to:

  • Increase awareness of the CHP situation in Federal markets and in commercial markets throughout the Mid-Atlantic region
  • Begin development of a network of CHP supporters in this region to increase communication among CHP stakeholders
  • Establish a roadmap for the MAAC that addresses:
    • Priorities
    • Actions to be undertaken by the MAAC
    • Formation of advisory boards

The first half of the workshop was an update on the current situation in the region. Attendees then split into breakout groups to discuss priorities and develop recommendations for the MAAC action plan. The information presented in the first half of the program was:
